Hampta Pass Trek
About This Trek
Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most dramatic crossover treks in the Himalayas. It takes you from the lush green Kullu Valley to the stark, barren landscape of the Lahaul Valley in just one trek.
The contrast is unbelievable — on one side you have dense forests, meadows and streams, and after crossing the pass at 14,000 ft, you enter a completely different world of dry, moonlike terrain. The trek ends with an optional visit to the stunning Chandratal Lake.
